CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION TERMS, ELIGIBILITY & LEGAL DISCLOSURES

By submitting a contribution, you affirm, certify, and agree to all of the following. These certifications are made under federal and Minnesota law and are relied upon by the campaign.

1. U.S. CITIZENSHIP & LEGAL STATUS

You are a United States citizen or a lawful permanent resident (green card holder). You are not a foreign national and you are not making this contribution on behalf of any foreign national, government, or entity.

Foreign national contributions are prohibited by law, including:
52 U.S.C. § 30121 and 11 C.F.R. § 110.20.

2. SOURCE OF FUNDS & STRAW DONOR PROHIBITION
────────────────────────────────────────
This contribution is made from your own personal funds. You are not using money provided by another person, corporation, labor organization, political committee, or any other prohibited source. You are not making a contribution in the name of another.

Contributions in the name of another are prohibited by:
52 U.S.C. § 30122, Minn. Stat. § 10A.15, and Minn. Stat. § 211B.15.

You further certify that you are not a federal government contractor making a prohibited contribution under:
52 U.S.C. § 30119.

3. CAMPAIGN RELIANCE ON DONOR CERTIFICATION

The campaign is legally entitled to rely on the truth and accuracy of all donor certifications unless it has actual knowledge to the contrary. If a contribution is later determined to be prohibited, excessive, or unlawful, the campaign may return or refund the contribution as required by law.

4. MINNESOTA CONTRIBUTION LIMITS
────────────────────────────────────────
Minnesota law limits how much an individual may contribute during each two-year election cycle:

Governor or Lieutenant Governor: $4,000 per individual  
Minnesota State Senate or House: $1,000 per individual  

These limits apply to the total amount you contribute by all methods. Excess contributions must be returned or refunded.

5. POLITICAL CONTRIBUTION REFUND (PCR) PROGRAM
────────────────────────────────────────
Eligible Minnesota donors who contribute:
$75 or less as an individual, or  
$150 or less as a married couple filing jointly  

may apply for a refund from the State of Minnesota under the Political Contribution Refund Program.

Participation is voluntary and governed by state law.

6. USE OF FUNDS & TAX STATUS

All contributions will be used solely for lawful campaign purposes. Political contributions are not tax-deductible for federal or state income-tax purposes.

7. DISCLOSURE & REPORTING

Minnesota law requires the campaign to report the name, address, occupation, and employer of contributors whose total giving exceeds reporting thresholds. By contributing, you consent to the collection and disclosure of this information as required by law.

8. FRAUD, FALSE STATEMENTS & ENFORCEMENT

Providing false information, making a prohibited contribution, contributing in the name of another, or misrepresenting eligibility may violate federal or Minnesota law and may subject the contributor to civil and criminal penalties. The campaign is entitled to rely on the donor’s certifications.
